According to this week’s assignment, we are supposed to explore a tool that we didn’t cover in this class. With that being said, I decided to explore with a Microsoft tool called OneNote. OneNote is a free form to gather notes, ideas and share them with others over the internet. This is a great tool for organizing and managing your day to day tasks or for a group collaboration. With OneNote, you can add audio clips to your notes, insert texts, web links and images. OneNote integrates search features and it also has an audio repository. It has the ability to store locally on a mobile phone or synchronized with a remote copy. OneNotes give you web access which means this is easily accessible on a Sky Drive. One benefit of OneNote is that it integrates well with Outlook. Furthermore, it lets you tag notes with keywords. I really enjoyed using this tool. I will be using OneNote for an upcoming project.
