This week I looked at Microsoft Office 365 and Office 2013 software. Office 365 has a suite that consists of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, email and with cloud storage in one bundle. On the other hand, Office 2013 has the standard Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. Microsoft has also made Office 365 available to home users. Microsoft 2013 is geared towards desktop applications while Office 365 is a web platform and can be access on selected mobile devices. It seems as if Office 2013 is more expensive than Office 365. Overall, I think Office 365 gives you more flexibility and you get more applications. It is cost effective. The installation is simple and easy to deploy.
